At Corey & Scooter Real Estate, our story is one of dedication and a shared vision of excellence in the real estate industry. Our founders, Scooter Gillis and Corey Ray, bring a wealth of diverse experiences and a deep commitment to serving our clients with integrity, honesty, and exceptional communication.
Scooter and Corey met during real estate school, where their shared passion for real estate and a few 80s movie references sparked a strong friendship. This bond led to the mutual decision to pursue a real estate venture together, founding Corey & Scooter Real Estate. By 2022, Scooter and Corey achieved the remarkable feat of being ranked #1 in closed sales volume within the Windermere Coeur d'Alene Office and #5 company-wide. They continued to excel in 2023, maintaining a strong presence in the industry.

Corey Ray has always been passionate about real estate. Since childhood, he dreamed of staking a claim in property that would be called home. Corey’s journey began at 19 when he started investing in real estate, amassing a substantial portfolio of properties. Previously an engineer, Corey successfully owned and managed a family-owned tree business before fully transitioning into real estate. Born and raised in Southern California, Corey and his wife fell in love with the natural beauty and family-oriented lifestyle of North Idaho. They decided to raise their three children in Coeur d'Alene, embracing the abundant lakes, rivers, mountains, and trees the area offers. Corey’s background as an engineer and small business owner has equipped him with a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of his clients' needs.

Scooter Gillis retired from a distinguished 17-year career in law enforcement, where he honed his skills in leadership, crisis management, and community engagement. Seeking a new service-oriented career, Scooter transitioned to real estate in December 2020. His rapid success in the field is a testament to his unwavering dedication and expertise. Beyond his professional achievements, Scooter is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and excellence.

Jaiden was born and raised in the beautiful town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and has a deep appreciation for everything this community has to offer. As a real estate agent with Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty, Jaiden is dedicated to helping clients find their dream home in this stunning region. With years of experience in real estate marketing, Jaiden has developed a great understanding of how to effectively showcase properties and connect with potential buyers. Outside of work, Jaiden loves spending quality time with her family camping, boating, and running!
