Our Story
Corey & Scooter Real Estate was founded by Scooter Gillis and Corey Ray, whose shared passion for real estate began in real estate school. Their partnership grew from a friendship to a top-producing team at Windermere Coeur d'Alene, where they earned accolades for closed sales volume. During their time at Windermere, they met Jaiden Howard, whose expertise in social media and marketing strategies played a key role in refining their listings and online presence. After obtaining her real estate license, Jaiden joined the team. In November 2024, Corey & Scooter Real Estate joined Keller Williams Realty, continuing their commitment to excellence.

Corey Ray has always been passionate about real estate. Since childhood, he dreamed of staking a claim in property that would be called home. Corey’s journey began at 19 when he started investing in real estate, amassing a substantial portfolio of properties. Previously an engineer, Corey successfully owned and managed a family-owned tree business before fully transitioning into real estate. Born and raised in Southern California, Corey and his wife fell in love with the natural beauty and family-oriented lifestyle of North Idaho. They decided to raise their three children in Coeur d'Alene, embracing the abundant lakes, rivers, mountains, and trees the area offers. Corey’s background as an engineer and small business owner has equipped him with a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of his clients' needs.

Scooter Gillis retired from a distinguished 17-year career in law enforcement, where he honed his skills in leadership, crisis management, and community engagement. Seeking a new service-oriented career, Scooter transitioned to real estate in December 2020. His rapid success in the field is a testament to his unwavering dedication and expertise. Beyond his professional achievements, Scooter is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, reflecting his commitment to personal growth and excellence.

Jaiden Howard was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and truly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else! She and her husband bought their first home in Coeur d'Alene, where she balances her time between real estate and managing a local coffee stand. With a strong passion for business, she earned her degree from North Idaho College and loves bringing that knowledge
into her work.
Outside of real estate, Jaiden makes the most of everything North Idaho has to offer. Most weekends, you’ll find her on the boat wake surfing, playing pickleball, hanging out with family, or getting lost in a good book. She feels incredibly grateful to live and work in a place that means so much to her and loves sharing that passion with others—whether it’s helping someone find their dream home, serving up morning coffee, or just soaking in another beautiful North Idaho day.
